For the Breadsticks

  • 1 lb (450 g) pizza dough
  • ½ lb (225 g) thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • ½ cup (80 g) sliced onions
  • ½ cup (80 g) sliced green bell peppers
  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup (50 g) shredded provolone cheese

Garlic Butter

  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Optional Garnish

  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the steak for 2–3 minutes until browned.
  3. Add the onions and bell peppers and sauté until softened. Remove from heat.
  4. Roll the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  5. Spread the steak mixture evenly over one half of the dough.
  6. Sprinkle the mozzarella and provolone cheeses over the filling.
  7. Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and press the edges firmly to seal.
  8. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Using a knife or pizza cutter, score the dough into breadstick portions without cutting completely through.
  10. Mix the melted butter and garlic powder, then brush generously over the dough.
  11. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until golden brown.
  12. Let cool for 5 minutes before separating into breadsticks.
  13. Garnish with parsley and Parmesan if desired.

Tips

  • Add mushrooms for extra cheesesteak flavor.
  • Serve with marinara, ranch, or cheese sauce for dipping.
  • For extra cheesiness, sprinkle additional mozzarella on top before baking.
