Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Prepare the Batter

  2. Grease and flour an 8-inch or 9-inch cake pan.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.

2. Bake the Cake

  1. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  2. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  3. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
